Syrah from a lands of, Crozes Hermitage….. That has been chemical, herbicides and pesticide free for over a decade growing organically certified vines on the soils of Pont de l’Isère.
With the shared vision of achieving the highest quality possible, the vigneron and producer work very closely in ordain to attain this goal.
The wine is fermented in concrete tank and large wooden tronique vats for 9 months, with just a small degree of carbonic maceration. The nose is typically a bit uptight straight after opening. Splash decant or give it sometime and the wine will get quite coquettish. The palate is punchy with blackcurrant, darker cherries, and fruits pitted with anise stars. This is both sappy and fresh a tremendous value for lovers of Syrah from Northern Rhone.
