"Pretty aromas include those of acacia blossom, citrus and essence of pear are trimmed in discreet wood influence. There is again fine volume to the finer and slightly better detailed middle weight flavors that flash equally good intensity on the chiseled, dry and bitter lemon-inflected finale. This too is a first-rate villages and definitely one to check out. *Burghound Outstanding Top Value!*"  06/2021

" The 2019 Puligny-Montrachet Village offers gunflint and green apples on the strict, tightly wound nose, a touch of petrichor with time. The palate is very saline on the entry, harmonious and focused. Touches of blackcurrant leaf lend another layer of complexity on the mineral-rich finish. Great persistence here, very saline and just superb for a Village Cru."- NM 12/2020

90 points  -The Wine Advocate

"The 2019 Puligny-Montrachet Village opens in the glass with notes of white peach, citrus oil, spring blossom, pastry cream and struck match. Medium to full-bodied and fleshy but tightly wound, it's lively and mineral, concluding with a chalky finish. Though quantities are down due to frost, the 2019 vintage has turned out brilliantly at Maranges reference-point Domaine Bachelet-Monnot, where brothers Mark and Alexandre preside over a superb portfolio of serious, structured whites and demonstrative, pleasure-bent reds. Farming organically but without certification, the style here continues to evolve: since 2016, grapes have been crushed before pressing, and the brothers now retain more lees. As has been the case for some time now, white wines ferment and mature in 350-liter barrels. Red wine vinifications are gentle and are followed by maturation in modest percentages of new wood. Everything reviewed here comes warmly recommended."- WK 07/2021
