"Established in the beginning of the century, Barros Porto is undoubtedly one of the most prestigious companies producing and trading Port Wine. Everything started in 1913, when Manoel de Almeida created “Almeida em Comandita” located in Vila Nova de Gaia.
Barros Porto is nowadays famous and appreciated all over the world. Most of its success comes from the Old Tawnies from a single year – Colheita Ports – high quality wines matured in cask or oak vats.
