"Domaine Chantal Lescure is situated in the heart of the Côte des Nuits, on the main drag of Nuits-Saint-Georges. Established in the mid-1970s by Chantal Lescure and Xavier Machard, the domaine and subsequent negociant arm, Chantal Lescure Selection, has amassed an impressive portfolio of terroirs in almost all of the important villages in the Côte des Nuits and Côte de Beaune. François Chaveriat assumed the position of director in 1996 and immediately stopped all herbicides and chemical inputs in the vines.
