"Obtained from Nebbiolo grapes cultivated in the vineyards of Loreto, Ovello and Cavanna in the commune of Barbaresco. It is a full-bodied wine, with balanced tannins and texture. It matures for two years in wooden casks to express its velvety taste and perfumes after some years in the bottle.
VINE: 100% Nebbiolo.
PRODUCTION AREA: comune of Barbaresco, vineyards in Loreto, Ovello and Cavanna.
COLOR: ruby red with bright garnet reflections that prevail with the ageing
PERFUME: typical, ethereal, pleasant. Hints of violet.
TASTE: dry and round, thanks to its powerful structure and balanced tannins.
ALCOHOL BY VOL.: 14% Vol.
MATURATION: after the fermentation and the initial pump-overs, it ages for two years in wooden casks and matures in dark green bottles.
FOOD PAIRINGS: perfect with meat, game and ripe cheeses. Serve at max. 20°C, open the bottle at least one hour before serving, in order to obtain more intensive perfume and taste." -Winery notes
