Gary Farrell Pinot Noir Hallberg Vineyard 2015
93 points - Jeb Dunnuck
The 2015 Pinot Noir Hallberg Vineyard is from a site in the Russian River Valley and spent 16 months in 40% new French oak. Deep ruby-colored and offering a beautiful nose of mulberries, blackberries, wood smoke, spice, and underbrush, it's medium-bodied, seamless, and silky on the palate. It's a classic, Côte de Nuits look-alike that will drink nicely for a decade.
