Georges Roumier "Michel Bonnefond' Ruchottes-Chambertin 2017
“93-95 Points. The 2017 Ruchottes-Chambertin Grand Cru already translates the limestone terroir of the soils on the nose, which is very refined and cerebral, showing touches of blackberry and wild hedgerow, even flint. The palate is medium-bodied with elegant tannin and perfectly pitched acidity; not powerful but very intense. There is an airy quality toward the finish. I suspect this Ruchottes might drink young but will age in graceful fashion.
Le Du’s does quite a bit of buying directly in Europe. As a result, we are able to offer older and rare bottles at compelling prices. The listed quantities are confirmed and on their way from France. THIS IS NOT VIRTUAL INVENTORY. We have shipments arriving monthly so your wait time will be anywhere from 4-6 weeks. One of our staff will contact you to confirm your order and let you know when we expect the wines to arrive.
If you have any questions or would like to be included on our Fine & Rare list so you can receive offers on these types of wines before they ever hit the web, contact our General Manager directly at JT@leduwines.com.
