Georges Roumier "Michel Bonnefond' Ruchottes-Chambertin 2017
“93-95 Points. The 2017 Ruchottes-Chambertin Grand Cru already translates the limestone terroir of the soils on the nose, which is very refined and cerebral, showing touches of blackberry and wild hedgerow, even flint. The palate is medium-bodied with elegant tannin and perfectly pitched acidity; not powerful but very intense. There is an airy quality toward the finish. I suspect this Ruchottes might drink young but will age in a graceful fashion.
