"Chateau Trimoulet is an obscure Bordeaux wine property in the Saint Emilion appellation that has been in the Jean family since 1802. The 17 hectare vineyard of Chateau Trimoulet is planted to 65% Merlot 30% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyard has a terroir of sand, clay and limestone, with some iron deposits in the soils. Chateau Trimoulet is best paired with all types of classic meat dishes, veal, pork, beef, lamb, duck, game, roast chicken, roasted, braised and grilled dishes.
