"Founder and winemaker Luca Fedrigo continues in the tradition of his mentor, legendary Amarone producer Giuseppe Quintarelli. Luca crafts classic wines built on the Valpolicella’s historical varieties with occasional twists: Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara. With vineyards in the Classic zone, around the town of Negrar, Luca does everything himself, from vineyard to bottling, with help from only a handful of employees. The L’Arco Ripasso Superiore is now simply called “Arcum”. Centered around the dried grapes used for making Amarone, this ripasso style uses fresh juice re-passed over the dried, pressed skins after the Amarone is made. A complex and enjoyable wine, combining complex fruit flavors of both dried and fresh fruits. The palate is rich and full with a llong finish of cigar-box, spice notes and wild herbs." -Supplier notes
