Vincent & Sophie Morey Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Caillerets 2017
"(Morey has three parcels of vines in the lieux-dits Poirettes and Grand Clos, ranging from 11 to 50 years of age): Pale yellow. Inviting perfume of lime blossom and anise lifted by spring flowers. Fresh and juicy but a bit youthfully tight; doesn't show as much body as the Morgeot today but this wine boasts greater inner-mouth mineral tension and lift to its flavors of fresh peach and orange juice. This lightly saline, very reserved wine displays a more Puligny-like structure, finishing with a hint of pineapple, a lightly tannic impression and subtle length."
