"Disgorged in October 2024 without dosage, Doyard's 2018 vintage-based NV Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Non Dosé Révolution derives mostly from Avize (70%) and includes fruit from Oger, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Cramant. The wine is vinified equal parts in stainless steel and oak and spends a year longer on the lees compared to Doyard’s NV Vendémiaire, coming through slightly more complete, with considerable tension, notwithstanding the generous base year. Opening in the glass with scents of almonds, peach and brioche, it is full-bodied and powerful yet precise, with a generous core of fruit, anchored by vibrant acidity and a delicately chalky finish." -KK 12/2024
