Aubert UV-SL Vineyard Chardonnay 2022

"We refer to this wine as the “chameleon,” as it evolves and morphs in each glass.  The combination of climate, soil, and rare clones planted at UV-SL produce kaleidoscopic, site-driven nuances.
The 2022 UV-SL Chardonnay is dense and lively, with effusive aromas of bosc galette, lime leaf, and candied green apple. The high altitude, far-coastal nature of the vineyard is reflected in the taught citron and sea spray aromatics and nervy minerality and acidity at the core of the wine. These fresh elements juxtapose the natural density and richness of the vintage, carrying the wine across its long, persistent finish. The purity and length of its composition will effortlessly carry the wine in the cellar for the coming 10 to 15 years. The wine is slightly hazy showing our commitment to minimal intervention winemaking." -Winemaker's note
