Christophe Buisson founded his winery in 1996 with a specific focus on the vines of Saint Romain, a small, overlooked appellation just catty-corner from Meursault. 

JT’s Take:

Christophe Buisson has been preaching the gospel of Saint Romain for almost 20 years and people are starting to notice.  It is an ascendant appellation and Christophe exemplifies why.  These are not deep or dense or needing a human lifetime in the cellar.  He makes bright, ebullient wines which whiz and pop all over the palate.
